He was The President of the Republic of Finland, Dr Urho Kaleva Kekkonen (1900-1986). They told a special case of him: UKK had radicalized to left, strongly, during the sixties on his old age.

We have now focused certain period of time, the Finnish national archive negotiates access to Soviet´s KGB archives from the crucial 1953-56 period.
That covers the death of Josef Stalin, the start of Urho Kekkonen’s 26-year stint as Finnish president, the 1956 general strike and the return of the Porkkala peninsula after it was leased to the Soviet Union in the Moscow Armistice that ended hostilities between Finland and its eastern neighbour in 1944.
The Continuation War was the Finnish and German Nazis provoked, and Hitler declared it.
The post-war period were needed a strong leader who to weeded out the extreme right in the country. The result is a resistant peace, was made by President Kekkonen, and his effort did it, brought to us this peacefull time, and it´s the permanent.
His efforts were finally rewarded.
