International Development Minister Heidi Hautala announced Tuesday that she would not give up her cabinet position.
Speaking at a news conference Tuesday afternoon, Hautala said she did not see her misdemeanour as reason to resign as minister.

She  claimed just a moment ago that she has got some blackmail.
Hautala, sure, claimed that she might have been a victim of extortion.

The contractor (who performed the off-book repair work) hinted to me at some point, that if my boyfriend files a suit about his own remodeling project, them he would remind me of my door repair job,

she revealed.
Hautala also pointed out that `her enemies´ knew about the shadowy repair work.
She named two `archenemy´, Johan Backman and Juha Molari.
Oh, Jesus!

I wonder deeply, in which she is involved.
All the names telling me that there are hiding behind the Russian oligarchs with their big money: some of them are opposed to the current administration, and others oligarchs come from it.

So,
last weekend Hautala gave up her seat on a government committee to combat illegal labour practices to her party chair environment minister.

However she apologised for her actions, adding `that the publicity the affair received is a modern form of naming and shaming.´

She acknowledged that she has `considered giving up´ her ministerial portfolio on many occasions.

People often think that we Greens consider ourselves to be better than others, however I want to say that Greens should aspire to be a party for ordinary people. No one can afford to moralise,

Hautala said that she had made a cash payment to a refugee for a one-off cleaning job, and that she had helped the individual in other ways.

I confused chargeable and pro bono assistance,

she disclosed.
She also defended her decision to stay on as minister by saying that there supposedly needed to be some degree of proportion between the crime and its consequences.
The whole affair had taught her a lesson. She tried to convince the matter.
