
With no names U.S. officials have said that when the identity of the courier was established in 2007 the U.S. began a path to the house in Abbottabad, Pakistan, where the al Qaeda leader was living.
Snitched by the name of Abu Ahmad al Kuwaiti, according to CNN, who was reportedly close to Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, an informer, a senior operations planner, one who did betray his reference group.
The information on the detainee assessments came from U.S. Defense Department documents published by WikiLeaks.
WikiLeaks documents detailed how the U.S. government held many Guantanamo detainees based on shaky evidence. Even so, the revelations are unlikely to dramatically change their fates. Rather, the disclosures highlight the flaws of the current system set up by the U.S. government to detain suspected al-Qaida terrorists, said with no mames attorneys involved in the cases.
