Everybody thinks this is because of pressure from China. It's very sad that another country is allowed to dictate terms to our government. It's going back to apartheid times.

According to The Guardian South African foreign ministry officials have consistently denied accusations they have been bowing to pressure from Beijing. Also they can give to denials that they live in lia, but still they allowed China to dictate its foreign policy.

Tutu called on the Chinese government to do the right thing for the Dalai Lama and Tibet and expressed his hope that China's emerging global political status would see it be a superpower for the promotion of freedom in the world `especially in Tibet´.
In my country in August, Dalai´s requests just was not blocked at all, but the highest politicians decided to escape from Him shamefully.
