Russian pole vault gold medallist Yelena Isinbayeva has criticised the Swedish actions, but why?

World Championships 2013 at the Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium has gotten on wrong tone of racecourse, there we heard one bigoted anti-gay tirade.
Yelena Isinbayeva, who has gotten her gold medal, visited the press conference room and set about condemning homosexuality, whilst criticising Swedish athletes who competed with fingernails painted in rainbow colours in protest at Russia's new anti-gay laws.

`If we allow to promote and do all this stuff on the street, we are very afraid about our nation because we consider ourselves like normal, standard people´, she said. `We just live with boys with woman, woman with boys.´

I will ask:
a) If some minorities have the same rights as the majority, how it will jeopardize hence this status of the majority?
b) What are the spells there? Yelena Isinbayeva used to mumble something by her self at start-zones, any on competitions or is it about other athletes?
