Some of the sauna-sessions and other stories, but this one is brilliant:
Morrissey and I used to go on reaky long walks in the forest.said by Clive Langer, co-producer according Uncut (september 2013).
I felt like I got pretty close to him and lived in his world for a year or so.
And it's not a logical world. He lived by his own rules and you have to live those rules as well when you're with him. I'am a way it´s bit sad, becouse it was an intense experience, then when you finished working with him, that was the end.
It feels like you've made a friend, then you don't hear from them again,
Clive became Morrissey’s co-producer during the time of the Bona Drag Ouija Board sessions. After co-writing November Spawned A Monster, he went on to take the production reigns of Morrissey’s most experimental and irreverent album: Kill Uncle co-written with Mark Nevin, injecting it with the more one kind of ‘quirky’ sound of Steve Nieve’s pianos. At the time of release Kill Uncle took a pummelling from the press.
