Just another lifeguard in Florida

Tomas Lopez  and one of his idol.
A young man, lifeguard in Florida, Tomas Lopez, 21, was manning his post on Hallandale Beach, north of Miami, on Monday afternoon when a beachgoer alerted him to a swimmer struggling but in an unprotected part of the beach.

This statue is also titled The Representative of Man. 
It was a long run, but someone needed my help. I wasn't going to say no, 
said Lopez, quoted by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel newspaper.

Soon he was fired.

Lopez has lost his job after rescuing a drowning man in a section of beach which was not assigned to patrol by him.

Disappearance of human understanding is a great danger, and that is why this issue is to highlight the Internet.
