Mr Putin could take part in humanity's evolution, for example, by increasing the human and civil rights.

In science and philosophy, ad hoc means the addition of extraneous hypotheses to a theory to save it from being falsified.
And because, if at here is no longer aware of the beings that can experiencing those cosmic revolutions, they do not matter.
