The possession of marijuana in New York could be partially decriminalised, soon-to-be people caught carrying small amounts in public should not be arrested.
The possession of marijuana has been partially decriminalised in 14 states across the US, most recently in Connecticut last year. But the New York County is most worst.
Under the proposal, the New York state would downgrade the possession of 25 grams or less of marijuana in public view from a misdemeanor to a violation,  It is already a violation to possess that amount without putting it into public view.

Yes but it is still a stupid drug, one light form of medicalization. And medicines are the biggest problem also in the United States.
