Know your karma

Can We Remember Our Past Lives? | Antti Savinainen, Ph.D.

More important than remembering past lives (they can be false memories, or "symbolic flashbacks") is to understand one's karma. What has he done, for a long time, in his previous lives. 
That way you can understand your karma - although the road is long. As an example, I have told an individual who made a vow of poverty in his previous life, who does not remember this, and does not want to remember. I've seen him beat his head against the wall all his life trying to get rich quick.
