Maybe it arrived too late for Halloween this year, but an eerie, skull-shaped asteroid that some are calling the death comet with a diameter of roughly 600 meters, came back for another visit.
We cannot see it "with the naked eye".
On November 11, asteroid 2015 TB145 will zoom past Earth at a distance of 25 million miles.
However it was discovered on October 10, 2015, by the Pan-telescope high atop the dormant Haleakala volcano on the Hawaiian island of Maui.
What it the our closer comet?
It occurred on October 31, 2015. This space rock flew past at a much closer distance of about 300,000 miles. (the moon orbits Earth at an average distance of 239,000 miles).
