The spring equinox

The vernal, or spring. That is known as the day of the Vernal Equinox in the Western World. The sun is now shifting from the southern hemisphere to the northern one, bringing longer, lighter days to deep north.
We know tahat the vernal equinox was celebrated long before the Celts, by the Megalithic people who lived in Britain before the Celts, the Romans and the Saxons. Also ancient Greeks, ancient Romans, ancient Mayans all celebrated the equinox, as did native Americans. Sure, ancient Persians called it NawRaz, their New Year's Day.
Why? Becouse they had the path of initiations.
We do not understand much about their inner life.
Alban Eiler, a Druidic name for the festival celebrated at this time, means `Light of the Earth´.
On this old path, it was the second initiation.
The old initiatory path is not functioning anymore, even though many of the cults are still trying to come back to it.
And the new one inner, finding requires for again a serious search, and the searchers need the enormous efforts out from materialism and egoism, hedonism.
They also need a clear self-consciousness but also the cognitive skills that are not required before.
