but... old selves can’t ever get out?
But I found the model (by Jan van Rijckenborgh): our old ego may be diminished in the same proportion as the new inner selfhood grows from inside.
I found that this is possible; this model is a fruit of the old Gnostic wisdom.

Buddhism also knows the the same path.
