Now they will be watching women who dress in ways that are deemed unacceptable and it has begun again in cities across the Islamic republic.
This year, so called in the test of wills, stakes by morality police are unusually high.

As Iranian leaders attempt to deflect the public’s attention from economic woes spurred by crushing foreign sanctions, they risk alienating large segments of a society that is already deeply divided, writes The Washington Post.
The government’s offensive this year has been active inter alia in Tehran’s main squares.
