Children as Children

Recently Children of Bodom was mentioned in issue of Finnish Donald Duck magazine.

There were Children of Bodom as `Ankkalammikon lapset.'
Now it was Bodom kids’ turn. That´s good.
Somebody said, thatt’s impossible to translate word for word, but roughly, he did it: Huey says his going to play “Children of Duckpond’s aggressive metal music” to scare some seals.  And we all know Bodom is actually a lake in Finland, so Duckpond = Bodom.
So at least in Finland: Donald Duck magazine, by Finnish edition, refers to popular culture by making funny versions of names of famous singers, actors, athletes and now also bands.
Children of Bodom is the fifth mentioned band in this context, but the most violent of all, the first real metal group.
Some people say that when you’re mentioned in it, you know you’re famous here. Is that a same fan culture everywhere?
