Look at the Land of the Midnight Sun - and what there were laying behind

Man from the leftwing, 27 years old

The political right-wing violently opposed.
Finland is according to Huffington Post some kind of `the mecca´ of education reformers across the globe.
The Finns share with their fellow Nordic people a strong commitment to children and a childhood based on egalitarianism, freedom, compromise, and democracy -- the bedrock of the Scandinavian ethos. Reverence for childhood, as a discrete period of development, not as a mere prelude to adulthood, runs deep. Respect for children's views and thinking is paramount. Early childhood, especially, is seen as a time for play and exploration, a vision enshrined in policy as well.
Oh, well, perhaps all truth. ..

Hey there, our model, so called for the worlds best school system came from GDR, German Democratic Republic, in other words from socialism!
Did it have to be totally evil?
